Yes, NotarEyes, LLC carries an errors and omissions policy.


Whether  you are a walk-in customer or you request to meet with a mobile notary at an agreed-to location, you may need to schedule a time and place to meet with the notary in person before notarization. Discuss notarial fees and any other appropriate fee charged by the notary, and you will be required to produce a valid unexpired form of identification at the time of signing.

We do NOT notarize publicly recorded document:

  • Birth certificate
  • Corporate documents on file with the Georgia Secretary of State Corporations Division; or any other jurisdiction outside the State of Georgia
  • Court documents
  • Death certificate
  • Divorce decree
  • Documents filed with a Georgia County Clerk of Superior Court - or any other court outside the Georgia court system
  • Marriage certificate


A notary public is a public official appointed by the state government to witness and certify the signing of legal documents.


Although there are many websites that you may search to find a Georgia Notary Public [i.e., SnapDocs or the National Notary Association (NNA)], the Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority (GSCCCA)  offers a resource to search by county, zip codes and other filters - https://search.gsccca.org/notary/search.asp


We service Metropolitan Atlanta including: Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Douglas Fulton, Henry, Gwinnett, Fayette and Rockdale and can be scheduled for other outlying counties. 


For any notary service that requires verifying the customer's  signature, the customer is required to provide at the time of service (unexpired) identification consisting of any one of the following:

  • Foreign Passport with valid U.S. immigration document
  • Georgia Driver License (unexpired)
  • ID Card by any state or U.S. with photo
  • Permanent Resident Card  is also known as a Green Card
  • U.S. Passport
  • U.S. Military Card with photo


You should submit a Notary Public Address/Name Change Notification and include legal documentation to show why your name has changed (marriage license, divorce decree, etc.) within 30 days - Be sure to check with your County or governing body for the specific procedure(s) and proper form(s).
